CinemaBlend's Editor told me to take a standard interview question and turn it into something "awesome." I had a lot of fun editing this to promote Warner Bros.' "The Suicide Squad."

I pitched, produced and edited this for the National Association of Theatre Owners.

I had the unique opportunity to pitch and produce a video for the
National Association of Theatre Owners that would get people hyped to return to the move theater after the COVID-19 quarantine. It's been a while since I've had a project I could really flex my editing skills on, so it was a welcome and rewarding challenge to create a narrative out of random clips. It was essentially a massive trailer re-edit, and I loved it! But plans changed, and NATO ultimately decided not to use the video.

Ahead of the release of "Zack Snyder's Justice League" (2021) on HBO Max, I produced, edited and co-hosted a weekly long-form discussion series for CinemaBlend's YouTube channel. With the above video, though, I wanted to explore how I could reshape long-form material into short-form, social-friendly content. It was a fun challenge to repurpose the material in an engaging way, and it ended up being one of CinemaBlend's highest performing Facebook videos of the year.

'Little women'

I produced, edited and appeared on camera for this CinemaBlend video.

I am a massive Greta Gerwig fan, and I cherish the "Little Women" book, so I was beyond thrilled when I got the opportunity to interview Gerwig and the cast for the 2019 movie adaptation. "Little Women" was my favorite film of 2019, and chatting with all of these legends was an absolute dream. CinemaBlend posted this video ahead of the film's release. With more than 105k views and 9.3k hours of watch time, it is one of CinemaBlend's highest-performing celebrity interview videos.

'A Star is born'

I produced, filmed, and edited this video during TIFF 2018.

I had a lot of fun creating this video for AMC Theaters during the Toronto International Film Festival in 2018. AMC Theaters posted this video a few hours after the red carpet premiere of "A Star Is Born," and while turning around videos on a tight deadline is always stressful, it's a lot easier when your subjects are Bradley Cooper and Lady freakin’ Gaga. The video currently has 129k views on Facebook, and was the highest-performing video to come out of our TIFF 2018 coverage.

'CAPTAIN MARVEL'

MOVIE REVIEW

I scripted, produced, edited and appeared on camera for this video essay.

Captain Marvel…more like Captain Meh-Vel. (Sorry). I had such high expectations ahead of "Captain Marvel" and was really looking forward to learning this character's story. But after my screening I walked away feeling less excited about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this movie review video for CinemaBlend, I break down why the film was disappointing and what I wish it would’ve done differently.

Red Carpet reporting- BTS MINI DOC 

I  produced, filmed and edited this "mini doc" at TIFF 2019.

Covering a red carpet is a lot more than just showing up and interviewing celebrities. This video goes behind the scenes on the carpet at the world premiere of "Jojo Rabbit" during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival to give non-entertainment journalists insight into how things work. This episode of CinemaBlend's YouTube show "Oh Great, It's Jeff"definitely isn't your typical festival coverage, but it was fulfilling to try something experimental.

'WHAT MEN WANT'

I edited and appeared on camera for this CinemaBlend video.

Interviewing the cast and filmmakers of "What Men Want" for CinemaBlend was a treat, and I'd just like to take this opportunity to say that Taraji P. Henson needs to continue to do comedy. In this video, you see me interviewing at a traditional press junket for the first time! Luckily, there are no horror stories to share. "What Men Want" is a comedy, so my goal was to tap into the same fun energy to promote the film. 

FILMS THAT INFLUENCED
BABY DRIVER

I produced and edited this video for Regal Cinemas. 

It was so fun to bring this interview with director Edgar Wright to life by cutting together clips from "Baby Driver" and the movies that inspired the film. Wright's a genius, but this video really showcases just how much past action flicks have influenced his work. Regal Cinemas posted the video ahead of the film's release. With 169K views and more than 500 reactions, it is the highest performing video CinemaBlend has created for Regal Cinemas. 

sparkle minis PAPER

TOWEL COMMERCIAL

I co-directed, co-wrote the script and edited the final product.

For my colleagues and I at Gateway Blend, making this digital ad for Sparkle® Minis Paper Towels was high-risk, high-reward. We submitted the video in a contest where the project brief called for an engaging and fun video that highlighted Sparkle® Minis' various uses. We came up with a concept that was slightly out of the box, and we ended up winning first place.

Alzheimer's

AWARENESS PROMO

I pItched, produced and edited this promotional featurette.

I produced this video for the University of Missouri chapter of Sigma Kappa sorority to shine a light on the philanthropic work they've done for the Alzheimer's Association. I originally made the video for the chapter's 2015 recruitment, but it's since been used by Sigma Kappa chapters around the country. This intro is typically played before a member presents in-depth information on all three philanthropies.

COMMERCIAL

I pitched the concept and co-wrote the script for this commercial.

Amazon commissioned our team at Gateway Blend to create this

ad to drive awareness and increase engagement with the Prime Photos app on Fire TV and Fire Stick, highlighting the new voice capabilities available. I was out of town for another project during the shoot, but it was still very rewarding to see our story come to life. The ad was used online in US markets and launched with the release of Alexa voice capabilities on Fire TV/Stick.

AQUAPHOR HEALING

LOTION COMMERCIAL

I pItched the original concept, shot the opening sequence and wrote dialogue.

I collaborated with my coworkers at Gateway Blend to create this digital ad for Aquaphor. Our goal was to present Aquaphor Healing Ointment as the one skincare product every woman should have at home to quickly and gently heal bothersome issues like dry skin.
